New Kits and Buttons

It took me just about all week but I have loaded up the shop with new buttons and new kits. I have been working on both of these for awhile and so I am super excited to show you.

There are lots of new buttons including birds, a new style of flowers, bees, toadstools and more. They are in the shop along with new stock of your favorite buttons.

And kits... You'll find Otis, Rhubarb, Three Okey Dokey Owls, Okey Dokey Owl and Friends Applique Quilt, Modern Flowers Skinny Applique Quilt, Sew Happy, Pin Cushions...whew, is that all? I don't think it is, you'll just have to go and see.

These kits are all in my new fabric line that is in stores now called Hoopla and Everyday Fun. If you are looking for yardage of the fabric google Hoopla and Everyday Fun and I am sure you will find an online or brick and mortar store that is selling it. Theres a cute little letters panel that can be used to appliqué names, etc. You can see it here.

Have a great day,

Happy Scrappy Scarf Kits

Remember these? They have been much more popular than I could have ever expected and everyone has wanted kits. I put some together over the past few days and now realize why everyone wanted kits...there are a lot of supplies involved. I put together as many together as I had supplies for. All of my vintage trim and hand dyed velveteen stashes are in these kits. Each one is different and they are in the Etsy shop right now so head on over and see if one calls your name.

Have a great day,
Jennifer

Scrappy Happy Scarves

Let me tell you had much fun I had making these. I seriously want to start up a scarf making business, hit the road and do shows selling them. I had to reel it back in because I might have too much going on to fit that in, but let's just say I was excited. These are FUN to make!

The scarf body is knit, so it's super soft around your neck. Then it's time to clean out those scrap bins, anything goes with these scarves.

The scarves have been so popular that they are now available as kits. The kit comes with the pattern as well as the knit, trims, tulle, and felt. You just need to add scraps. Each scarf is unique, how fun is that?

Don't want a kit? You can get the pattern free by signing up for the Jennifer Jangles newsletter. It will be delivered to your inbox.

Have a great day!

Buy One Get One Free

These lollipops were in the Quilts and More Summer Fall issue 2012. I have several kits left in the Etsy shop and I figure they can't stay there much longer so I am putting them on sale. Starting now, they are officially Buy One Get One Free. Unfortunately, Etsy doesn't have this option in the checkout so I will refund the second kit before I ship your order.

Even if you don't want to make a lollipop, you get a couple of squares of fabric and a 1" button. You could make a cute little zipper pouch with the supplies. Instructions for a pouch are here.

When they are gone they are gone so get them now.

Happy Friday!

Found Objects

Hey, hey, I have new kits! I think these found object pendants are my favorite of the new kits. I have mixed my ceramic beads with glass, felt, real dice, and more. Each kit is a bit different I color but they all make the same style of pendant. The chain is a really pretty gunmetal and it measures 30" and has a clasp. You can find them in the kits section of the website. Don't forget yesterdays post, 10 percent off until the 30th. Wahoo!

Have a great day,

Kit Packaging

As promised here is my kit packaging. I am so happy with how they turned out. These boxes have a clear top and are black on the sides. Then I had a whole bunch of Jangles ribbon left from another jewelry project so I combined that with some bright colored ribbon and voila, I have my kits. They are so fun all out on a table together. I can't wait to see them in my display at Bead and Button.

I am of to unload a kiln load of beads right now. This is my favorite part of my job....

Talk to you soon,
Jennifer

Good Sunday Morning to you....

Hello everyone...
Just sitting here drinking my morning coffee and getting ready for the day. I have to work today, I had a sick little boy Friday and didn't get a thing done. But before I get out to the studio, I thought I would give you some great links to check out. It's hard for me to write a post and not show a picture. I guess it's the artist in me, I am a visual person. So here's my picture. This is a new charm bracelet that I have been working on. It will be one of my new kits. I am working on packaging them today. I got some really cute boxes and ribbon and oh they are going to be cute! As soon as I get some finished I will post a photo.

In the meantime, enjoy your coffee and check out these other great beader's links.

Later,
Jennifer
