Colorful Ceramic Necklace

Whew! New work! I feel like I have been working on these ideas for a very long time. I love all of the bright colors, color blocking, and geometrics shapes coming into fashion these days. I hope these trends stick a long for a very long time.

I have also been wanting to make some jewelry that is almost entirely ceramic. It's not something I have done in a long time and it's so much fun. I had a ball stringing up this necklace with all the bright beads. I have worn this necklace several times now and get lots of comments on it. I think I will wear it today as well. You always need a good Friday necklace right?

I decided to try something new in the Etsy shop as well. Typically I would put all of the pieces to make this necklace together in a set. But it seemed like there is so much to mix and match with these beads that I wanted everyone to have a choice to make it their own. I put single and pairs of beads in the shop this time. We'll see how it goes. I always like to experiment. :)
By the way, I painted up some new cup and saucers as well. I have my eye on the turquoise and red one... if it doesn't sell soon, it might be my new mocha mug.

Have a great day!
Jennifer

Yummy Pendants and Ribbons

Photobucket

Yummy pendants with matching Sari ribbons have been added to the Jangles Etsy shop today. I am in love with the ribbons and pendants together. I have some ideas in my head for some necklaces. I can picture one with several strands of the ribbon with beads cones, and the flower pendant. I can also imagine it strung on and tied for an over the neck pendant. So many possibilities. I will keep thinking of ideas as I glaze away today. Maybe soon, I could actually make them.

Have a great day,
Jennifer

Found Objects

Hey, hey, I have new kits! I think these found object pendants are my favorite of the new kits. I have mixed my ceramic beads with glass, felt, real dice, and more. Each kit is a bit different I color but they all make the same style of pendant. The chain is a really pretty gunmetal and it measures 30" and has a clasp. You can find them in the kits section of the website. Don't forget yesterdays post, 10 percent off until the 30th. Wahoo!

Have a great day,
