Fabric and Free Patterns

Hello! Some fabric has made it's way into the Jennifer Jangles Etsy Shop. I was able to get the last bits of Polka Dot Garden and Tussie Mussie from In The Beginning. These have been out f print for over a year now and they are getting hard to come by.

Usually, I don't like to sell my fabric in my shop. I never want to compete with other quilt shops and stores that carry my fabric. But, folks are always asking me to sell it. These bits and ends are my solution. Now I have to admit, there's was a moment when I wanted to keep them all for myself. Truthfully, I have my eye on several fabrics I might not be able to part with for FOREVER. Any who, they are in the Etsy shop, everything I have is listed and there is no way to get more of these fabrics ever again. Yikes!

In the headline I mentioned free patterns. That's right, anyone who make a fabric purchase this month(June 2103) will receive a free Jennifer Jangles Sewing Pattern. You have your choice of four different patterns. And here they are....

You can enter the pattern you would like in the comment box of the order. If there isn't a comment, then I am happy to choose a pattern for you.

Have a great day,

Store Photos

I told you earlier in the week that Polka Dot Garden was in stock. At the time I promised more photos and here they are....

I have been doing lots of rearranging and building. Here is the front of the store last week. I have my sign and then I painted a big ol red open sign. That's to let people know I am at the gallery. I found found my business is too crazy to hold "regular hours". So when the sign is out you know I'm there. I am usually in around 8:00 and it's amazing how many early morning customers I get. I think it's because I am near a coffee shop and bakery.

So back to the store front, got a little off track there.... it's a bit boring and I wanted to spiff it up some.

I made some bunting from the new fabric ...

And I made this bench...

I am working on some big flowers that will eventually get "planted" out front as well. But there are too many other things on the list right now...

I am super excited to be headed to a bead show today. This is a wholesale show where I will be searching for all those cool beads to go in my kits and in the Etsy shop with my work. In years past I have come home with quite the loot, I am hoping to do the same today. I can't bring my camera into the show but I will definitely take photos of what I got.

Have a great day!

Photo Shoot

Photobucket

Hey, Hey,

Here are a few of my pictures from my photo shoot last week. I am really happy with the way they turned out. Especially with the photo of me. I almost took a picture of myself this morning so you could see how I really look, but then I thought I might scare you away. :)

Worked on the booth yesterday.... I think I changed my theme/idea four times. My dumpster dive was sucessful and that part of the booth I like. I am also getting close to having the walls decided on. I swear once I get the "bones" of the booth finalized I will feel better.

Totally changing subjects here... if you're local, you're going to be excited. The entire line of Polka Dot Garden will be in the shop soon! Wahoo, all 23 bolts. Can't wait, can't wait. I am thinking it's going to be another week and a half because I live on the other side of the country from where it's shipping. Watch the blog, you'll know when it arrives.

Alrighty...it's a glazing day here at the studio....and while I glaze I will be staring at my booth and thinking....and thinking....and thinking....

Have a good day,
Jennifer

Winner and Photo Shoot

Good Day!

I am here to announce the winner if the stack of fat quarters of Polka Dot Garden. I did the random number generator and I still don't know how to get that image up on my blog. I know folks do it....why can't I figure it out. I am guessing it's super simple. So I guess you'll have to trust me on this one. The winner is...drum roll...... Bahama Dawn! Kim, I need you address and I will ship these out to you right away. Congratulations!

It's a big day tomorrow at the ol' Jennifer Jangles Studio. I have a photographer coming to shoot photos of my fabric, a couple of patterns, and of me. I was working on the shot for the fabric this morning arranging flowers like I used to do a long long time ago. They smell great and are so springy. I have my pattern shots almost ready to go too. But the me shot...oh geez... I found out I needed some head shots for a top secret project I am working on. I had already scheduled my photographer so I thought what the hay...we'll just do it Saturday. So I called my friend Michelle for some beauty advice and serious help. She's actually a P.H.D. student but cuts friends hair for fun. We have already had two "beauty" sessions. The first was make-up.... something I know nothing about. I wear it but probably not the right way or color or anything. She did me up, then she cut my hair, colored away some of the grays...(yikes)... and styled it. I am all set for tomorrow, I am in good hands and she will do me up well. I will keep you posted.

Happy Friday,

Here it is! All 23 fabrics...I have been sewing with them all week and I could not be happier. First of all, In The Beginning Fabrics are always so soft and these are no different. Second, I love all the variety of colors, I have put color combination after color combination together and I am sure it's not even the tip of the ice berg. I have been told the fabric is shipping to stores this week, start checking your local independent quilt shop to see if they have it.

I promised a give a way and here it is. Leave me a comment at the end of this post and you will be entered to win a stack of fat quarters and some matching buttons. I will draw the winners name this Friday. Wahoo!

These are a couple of the photos I shot before cutting into my fabric...

Have a great day,
