Free Patterns with Flowers

I have a hard time not adding a flower or two to my work. I thought it would be fun to compile a list of my free flower projects. Scroll to the bottom for a Pinterest friendly list.

Enjoy!

Crochet and Beaded Flowers

Thought I would show you what I have been playing around with lately. Flowers are always a theme running through my work so when I started crocheting it was one of the first things I attempted. Then, of course, my mind started running in a million different places about what could be done with crochet flowers.

If I only had more time....

Have a great day,

Spring

Hey, Hey, Happy Saturday! Just getting my last minute supplies together for the pattern photo shoot. I had a minute to add a few things to the Etsy shop. I had a goal of adding something new everyday! Ha!...that never happened. But now I am hoping to be back on track....here are some cute and springy flowers to help bring spring to your neck of the woods. And if it makes you feel any better, it's cold in Georgia this week as well. Come on Spring!

Have a great day,

Happy Summer

Photobucket

Happy Summer!

I sent out a newsletter earlier in the week and let everyone know about a summer sale I am having. I realized I should mention it to you blog readers too. Everything at the Jennifer Jangles website is 10% off until the 30th. You just have to enter the code Summer10 in the coupon box to receive your discount.

See my flowers above? Those came from my garden. They are my zinnias, I am loving them and I keep cutting them and filling vases and everyday I have more. They are all sorts of colors so everyday it's a surprise to see whats going to bloom. I have about 20 more that need to be cut this morning! It wasn't so long ago that they were these little guys.

P.S. The super cool pitcher was made my one of my favorite potters, Carter Gillies, you can find his work at Good Dirt, if you're ever in Athens.

Have a great day,

Number 12

Check this out! I can't believe it...seriously this is still sinking in. I would never have imagined that I would be ranked number 12 on Wikio's top 20 jewelry making blogs. They are posting the new category today but they asked Margot Potter to break the news so it's on her website right now. I know I have some folks out there reading my blog.....but wow.... number 12. I owe all my reader's out there a big thanks.

And since we are talking jewelry making today, I thought I would post these photos of a necklace I made using my flower links. I linked them together with jump rings and added some beads and chain. It's a fun one to wear.
I also have a new coupon accepting thing (module is the official term) on my website. I want to try it out. Starting today I am offering free shipping on all website orders. When you checking out just type FREESHIP into the coupon box. This offer runs through May 8th, which is Saturday.
Have a great day,

Sweet Treat Jars

Good Morning!
I didn't get all the way done with my springy crafts, but I did realize I have a bunch of crafty, beady projects from last year that never made the blog. Seriously, I make things all the time and I just can't always stop to photograph them. I made some holiday jars like this before, these are the same concept but they are ready for spring.

In a nutshell, they are mason jars that I painted the lids and glued some trims on. I poked a hole into the center of the lid and strung a wire through it. I strung the ceramic flowers, seed beads, and leaves onto wire and twisted off the top. I think these would be so cute as a gift filled with sweets.

While you're here reading...I had my painting night the other week and totally forgot to take pictures. Genevieve Gail who came posted her painting on her blog. She made us all look bad when she painted this really snazzy boat for her husband's valentine gift.

Come back tomorrow for another give-away...

New Flowers

Whew! I have been working hard to get some new beads up in the Etsy shop. I just added some new flower beads, and some pendants, and other new stuff to the shop. They are all so nice and springy. It's that reoccurring spring fever thing I have going on.

I don't have time for much else today, i am working hard to get things done for my wholesale jewelry show this week. So everyone have a great day and I will be talking to you soon.

Flowers...come on spring

Where flowers bloom so does hope.
- Lady Bird Johnson

Hi all, oh gosh I have a really bad case of spring fever. We had a warm day last week and that was all it took. I am sooo ready for warm sunny days and green grass and flowers. It's funny because I have found myself all winter working on flower beads. I have some new ideas in my head that I have been getting out. You'll have to wait to see them, they are still in the works. But for now I just felt like putting a nice springy picture up. This picture makes me happy.

I'm Back....

Hey Everyone! I am back. Whew, what a trip. I am always exhausted when I return and this year is no different. After five days of standing on a hard cement floor and writing orders and talking to galleries I am beat. After my adventure of getting to Philadelphia in an ice storm, I was curious to see how the show would go. The weather cleared up nicely and there was a huge crowd. I did really well and now have lots of orders to fill.

I promised some of my new work. Here is a picture of my new little flower vases. I know it's not jewelry. I have really wanted to make a gift item for awhile that wasn't jewelry. I still had my full line of jewelry and then I added these too. They were a big hit. I make them with and without the words and they stand about 4 inches.

I am now back in my studio making beads and flowers to fill all my orders. I just put a few flowers up on my Etsy store today. Now it's back to making beads!

Have a good day,
Jennifer
