Peppermint Pendants Tutorial

Welcome to Holiday Project Number Two! Here's the how-to......

Supplies Needed:
1 Ceramic Striped Tube Pendant
2-3 Faceted Czech Glass beads measuring 6-10mm in size
Approximately 6 inches fairy ribbon
1 brass eyepin 2 inches
3 brass jump rings 6mm
20inches brass chain
1 brass clasp

Instructions:
1. Slide the Czech beads onto the headpin. Finish the end of the headpin with a loop to match the other side of the eyepin.
2. Connect one end of the eyepin to the ceramic pendant. Connect the remaining side to a 10 inch section of chain.
3. Add the second piece of chain to the opposite side of the pendant using a jump ring.
4. Tie a small bow with the fairy ribbon on the chain just above the jump ring.
5. Add the clasp and jump ring on the chain ends to complete the necklace.
You're finished! Hope you had fun.

Ceramic Tube pendants can be found in my Etsy shop. Fairy ribbons can be found at bead shows and shops, or on Etsy. I bought mine at Flower Seed Paper on Etsy.

Have a great day,

Sewing Machine Necklace

Happy Friday! Or at least Happy Friday to those that are reading this post today, if it's Monday and you're reading this ouch....there's another five days till it's Friday again. :)

Just popping in to say hello. I am in the midst of sewing new pattern prototypes. I've got so many going at once I can barely keep track of what it is I am sewing. I do like it that way though. Because when I am sewing the prototypes, 95% don't turn out the first time through. It gets depressing if I spend an entire day sewing and get a bunch of ugly stuffies, bags, etc. This is my coping method, if I get one good pattern from the bunch, I am doing the happy dance. Wednesday I got one, so I did my dance, then moved on to glazing beads.

I've got more sewing machine pendants in the kiln today. They will hopefully join the others in the Etsy shop soon. Just waiting on the temperature to go down so I can open it up.

I hope everyone has a long Memorial Day Weekend. I've got plans for planting a row or two of the garden and a picnic, sound to me like a good weekend.

Have a great day,

Bezel Necklace Project

Hey, Hey, I highly recommend you hop on over to Carmi Cimcata's blog Resin Crafts. She made a couple necklaces using my ceramic bezels and they are fabu! I just love the colors and the retro look. The one shown here is pink but the other is lime green, which happens to be my favorite color.

I just all of the bezels I have made to the Etsy shop, you can find them there if you want to make a necklace of your own.

Have a great day,
Jennifer
