Ornament How-To

Hello, Hello,

I wanted to show you an easy ornament that I love to make using my holiday pendants. I used 18 gauge silver craft wire and made a spiral at one end. I sent the wire through the pendant hole so the spiral is on top, bent the wire upwards, and slid a bead on. I could then use my round nose pliers to make a larger spiral at the other end for the hanger.

Can't be a five minute project, eh? I just added a hole bunch of holiday pendants to the Etsy shop this morning. You can find them in the Jennifer Jangles web store as well.

Happy Holidays,
Jennifer

Today's ornament was made with a heart embellishment. I wired a hook to the embellishment and then embellished my embellishment even more. I used some sticky back rhinestones to outline the heart for a little more sparkle.

By the way,. if your looking for the flashback Friday post, come back tomorrow I will be posting it then.

Have a great day,

Hey, Hey, It's day three of my ornament extravaganza. Today's project is made with one of my snowmen pendants, a little wire, and some glass beads. I made a large wire loop and strung on my glass beads. Once they were strung I hung the snowman from the center and made a hook at the top for hanging. I am giving the exact instructions in my newsletter today. Are you signed up for my Holiday Project Newsletters? Sign up at the bottom of the page here.

Ornament Extravanganza

Hi there, welcome to day two of my Ornament Extravaganza. Today's ornaments is a bit of a sewing project. I promise it was super easy, so even if you don't sew, you could handle this one. I began by taking two triangles of green felt and sewing them together with a bit of stuffing, a felt trunk, and ribbon. I threaded on a star bead and sewed on strands of size 6 seed beads for garland.

I will be giving away one of my tree ornaments this week, leave a comment here in the post sometime before the end of Saturday the 14th and you could win. I will be giving an ornament away for everyday of the extravaganza so stop back by and leave a comment everyday. I will announce the winners on Monday here at the blog.

Ornament Extravanganza

Welcome to day one of my Ornament Extravaganza! Today, I decided to go with a simple ornament. These are my new Holiday Pendants, they make a great ornaments as well as a great pendant. I used a silver craft wire to make a "swirly thing" at one end. I threaded this through the pendant and bent the wire so it was standing straight up. I added a few beads and made another loose swirl at the top and voila, the ornament was finished.
