Here they are...finally. These are the pillows I made for Quilt Market. For some reason, my photo didn't make it to my computer when I took pictures at the show. I love these and they went straight to my family room when I got home. I love the felt balls sewn on the side and I guarantee you will be seeing more of that in future projects.
If you got my Holiday newsletter this week you found the instructions for a miniature pillow just like these. It's not for your couch though, it's for a pin cushion. I will save those photos for another day.
Have a good one,
The pillows look great. Love your fabrics.
ReplyDeleteThe pillows and the pincushion are just TOO cute! What a great idea - and the pins are adorable! What a great project! :o)
ReplyDeleteYour pillows are to die-for! I ordered 1/2 yards of your fabrics as soon as they arrived in the shop! I adore them & have them displayed prominently in my sewing room. Haven't decided yet what I want to make w/them!
ReplyDeleteI bet your house is an amazing display of color and whimsy - you should do a video house tour sometime for all of your fans!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!

ReplyDeleteMary,
ReplyDeleteI will give you a tour one of the days. Nik and I have a list a mile long of improvements though. We swear we are going to get through a big chunk of them this winter. Then maybe I can give you the tour. :)
Pam,

ReplyDeleteJennifer, You are incredibly talented. I love your new fabrics and haven't seen them in any stores. Are they available in the Phoenix area? I have your book and have promised myself an entire day to begin trying some of the techniques you taught in it. Thanks for sharing. Jan
ReplyDeleteOh my, do I love these pillows but especially the pin cushions! I'm going right out tomorrow to get me some fiber fill and some little felt balls so I can make myself one this weekend!! ReplyDeleteJen,
ReplyDeleteI plan on it :) I think I can manage that much sewing...haha...and it's SO cute! You really are coming up with some great ideas for projects-and projects that look great, but are also not too difficult to make...I really like that-it helps keep me from getting overwhelmed...which usually means that stuff I got for this year's Christmas wouldn't get done till next year :)
Jennifer, I love the pillows. Is your fabric available in the Memphis area? I'm sure there is somewhere to research that! Can't wait to pick up all the pins off the floor and put them in a pin cushion made from your cute fabric!!
