Creativity Tips - Creativity in the Morning

Did you know most people are usually more creative in the mornings before all those things you have to do creep in to your head? I do my best to get to a local coffee shop a few times a month to draw and drink coffee while I am still waking up. Try something creative first thing in the morning and let me know if you can see a difference.

  1. That surely doesn't work for me : I'm a night owl : I get more creative and energetic when the world around me goes te sleep and everything calms down and becomes quiet. I do get op in the morning to go to work but my most productive period is between 3 and 6 in the afternoon. And when I don't have to go to work, I just skip the mornings and get up late and go to bed late ;)

  2. I am so not a morning person that creativity isn't anywhere in sight. Now late at night is a different story.

  3. I'm not a morning person either, the "thinking" part of your brain is not awake yet. I am most productive in the afternoons for sure. I would encourage you to try it.

  4. I need an hour before I tackle anything or I will make awful mistakes. I get too sleepy after lunch, so mornings are best for creative effort after I've had my tea.

  5. Morning is my best time. But I have to go to work early so I save crafting for the weekends. Too tired most afternoons to be creative.
