They are coming! Yippee... I wanted to have one of those countdown clocks telling you exactly how many weeks, days, minutes,etc. that were left until the first project would go out. But it turns out, I am having some java script issues. It's not serious...I'm going to be alright. :)
I am going to do it the old fashion way. October 6th is the day! That means there are only 27 days until they start! Wahoo again!
If you aren't familiar with my annual Holiday Project newsletters then I will give you an idea of what you're in for. If you have always received my holiday newsletters, I advise you keep reading because there are new things being added this year. First of all, this is my fourth year of projects. I think I might do bullet points for the rest of my explanation.... Here we go.....
* A new project every week for ten weeks, to get you prepared for the holidays
* New work every week
* A sale or special every week just for newsletter subscribers
* Freebies
* A give a way every week
* Lots of fun!
You say you need to be on the mailing list? Sign up here at the bottom of the page. To entice you a little more, any new subscriber between now and October 5th will receive a coupon for 25% off your first order. Once you sign up I will e-mail you the code.If you already are a subscriber and your bummed about not getting the coupon....how about a giveaway to cheer you up?
Leave me a comment here at this post and you will be entered to win a big ol' stash of New Holiday beads. They are beads that will be debuting in the first newsletter so unfortunately I cannot show you the prize. But above are some snowmen and trees to fill in their place.
I will randomly choose a winner for the give a way on October 6th.
When you leave me a comment, I want to hear....are you making your holiday gifts? Will you be sewing or beading them? I love, love, love to read what you're up to so thanks in advance for the comments....
Have a great day,
Jennifer

Jennifer -- your colors and patterns make me happy! I'm definitely making my holiday gifts this year. Mostly beading . . .
ReplyDeleteFun give away! I love the design and colors of your trees.
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking about how this is going to be the year that I make more than I buy. Some beading, some constructing of things, I need to remember to start as early as you do! I think I will get my children in the act too.
I am making some gifts this year: beading and cooking.
ReplyDeleteI already made 24 pair of Swarovski Christmas trees in various combinations of colors and spacers! We have 5 shows coming up this fall. I am also making gifts for my 2 nieces---last year it was a necklace and bracelet with small crosses for church, with added charms saying "faith" and "believe". This year I think I'm going to work on their school colors---they have spirit day every Friday.
ReplyDeleteSo fun!! I can hardly wait to see your amazing new beads :) I love making things for people at Christmas! I usually purchase ready made things too, but the things I make always mean more- most are sewn or hand crafted :) Thanks for a giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI am definitely making gifts this year and selling some. I will be beading. Though after looking at your material I keep thinking I need to brush up on my rusty sewing skills.
ReplyDeleteBeth
I plan on sewing most of my holiday gifts this year and your beads would be a perfect enhancement to any gift! The colors you use are just yummy!
ReplyDeleteLove your Christmas beads and your new line of fabric, Tussie Mussie! It's so great that I even ordered 2 bolts of some of it cause I'm sure it's going to sell out! I always think I'm going to make gifts but never end up having time to do it...sigh...
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun, I have started buying some of my Christmas gifts, and I usually sew some as well. Better get on that.
ReplyDeleteI'm planning to make lots of jewellery this year for presents, and hopefully get some sewing done too. Would love to hear about your holiday projects!
ReplyDeleteHey Jennifer, I love the Fall and the holdidays. My favorite memories of Chistmas as a little girl was not the toys and gifts. I don't even remember the gifts. My favorite memories were baking with my grandmother and giving baked goods to neighbors and friends. We did that every year until she passed away at the age of 90. I now carry on that tradition with my daughter and grandchildren. This year I am learning alot of new techniques and materials in jewerly making. Those pieces will fill most of my Christmas list this year. I love your work. Can't wait to see your Christmas line,
ReplyDeleteWow Teri, you have been busy!
ReplyDeleteThanks Bev,
ReplyDeleteI want to hear which fabrics are your favorite...
It seems like there's going to be a lot of beading and sewing this year!

Hi Jennifer,
ReplyDeleteI plan on making a lot more of my gifts this year. It's a way of giving things that are more personal plus it also helps on the budget. I know that when someone takes the time to make something for me, it just seems to mean so much more. I'd like to pass that feeling on to my friends and family!
Keep Creating!!!!

I can't wait to see the new beads! The ones I don't use in beading, I attach to the food gifts I make.
ReplyDeleteI am one of those who waits until the last minute to even think about holiday shopping/gifts! I usually make jewelry for my nieces, mom, girlfriends, & grandmas. I really should get started because I'm always freaking out trying to get everything done & the cost all at once tends to make me light headed, but we'll see if I can get motivated!! :0) Alicia Coats (I have to post anonymously for some reason)
