Where are you from?

We didn't do this last year and some of you had the great idea to say where you are from when you post on the blog tonight. Last year we had people from all over the country and a few other countries posting comments and hanging out. If you want to put your location in the comments that would be super cool.

And just in case you don't know, I am from Athens, Georgia. I am originally from Kokomo, IN and then we lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for about four years. We settled here in Georgia three years ago.

Where are you from?

  1. That is a nifty idea...I am from Houston, TX. I was born in Norfolk, VA (dad in the Navy), but have lived in Texas since I was 6 months old (I was north of Austin for 4 1/2 years for college)....So, even though I have done a lot of traveling, I am a Texas girl at heart :o)

  2. I am from Ottawa Canada - we are having our first winter storm today. Finally it looks like winter here! I love the first snowfall of the year - the snow is clean and fresh.

  3. I live in Port Charlotte, Florida now, but grew up near Buffalo, NY. It is always funny to see Christmas lights in palm trees, but I am not complaining!

  4. Alexandria, VA here. Previously lived in Pittsburgh, Boston, Tucson, Chicago, Seattle, and North Dakota. Am feeling lucky today because, although it's not as warm here as in Florida or Arizona, I'm a lot cozier than my Midwestern relatives.

  7. We have people from everywhere tonight! It's so funny because the weather couldn't be more different across the country today. Usually my Mom and Dad in Indiana are 10 degrees different than us in Georgia. Today they are getting snow and it was 70 here! Crazy weather...

  16. Hi Debby,
Yikes are you going to have ice? Glad you could make it again this year. It's good none of us have to travel to get to my open house :)

  17. Hi Vicki,
Yes, I watched the snow in Houston last week too. So funny, it was even snowing in Mexico!

I think I have said this before. If I hadn't been so into art, I would have been a weather lady. I am a weather channel junkie, or maybe a nerd.
