It's Done!

Yahoo! There it is, my new studio. I got the last piece today. The coffee table.,I found it at the Habitat for Humanity Store in town. I love that place. It was an old school table and it has adjustable legs. It works perfect for my coffee table/bead designing table. Let me show you around....
This is my wall of storage. The table on the left holds my ceramic beads. The cabinets hold all of my other craft supplies, display items, and packaging.
There is my big pegboard with my bead strands.
This is my designing area. See, I make ceramic beads all day and then I like to design at night in my down time. This is my solution, I can plop on the couch, watch some TV and design in comfort. That's what I will be doing tonight.

I will take some better pictures and some close-ups later in the week. I need to get my lamps fixed, I have two that broke during the move. Okay it's off to work in my new space.

  4. Hey all,
My husband does realize he won't be seeing me much anymore. He is also bummed because it used to be his office and he never had it looking so good.

  6. You need a little refrigerator and pantry for snacks and you won't have to leave to eat! Gorgeous, my workspace looks like an industrial complex and yours now looks like a greeting card - glorious.

  7. So funny...I was just eyeing the mini-fridge in the basement. I was thinking the exact same thing. I have to admit, I fell asleep on my couch last night in the studio, my husband had to come wake me up. It's probably a sign of things to come!

  12. Could your space BE more fabulous AND more you? (Of course, since you ARE as fabulous as the space, or probably more fabulous than the space, that stands to reason...) And could I be more envious of your wonderful workspace? Probably not. Looks great. Love the bold choices you made.

  13. Thanks Linda!
Living in a house of all boys(even the dog is a boy), I saw my chance to do what I wanted to a room and took it, hence the flowers and hot pink accents. I couldn't be happier in here. I have spent the last twelve years working out of a dark garage or basement studio, so I couldn't be happier.

  14. Jennifer,
I am totally drooling over this space! You did such a fabulous job, I love how you have all the different areas of working space. The couch being my favorite. Now I am totally thinking about moving out the day bed from my bead room and putting in some sort of couch/loveseat and a tv. Perfect. You just need a pull out bed, and a fridge and You could LIVE there full time. he he he :)
