A Winner! and a Give-A-Way

Hey, Hey! Oh boy is it a big day! Three big things are happening; 1. Holiday Projects are starting, 2. I get to announce who won the Gigantic prize, 3. I have another give-a-way starting. Woot, woot!

Let's start in backwards order... that makes sense, right? hee hee

Check out ALL of this fabric! My favorite folks at In The Beginning Fabrics were kind enough to donate some for my weekly newsletter give-a-way.  It's my line of Jolly Holiday that's in stores now. This is one prize! There are ten fat quarters and two yards of the block print. There's enough to make a quilt! Are you wondering what you have to do? Leave me a comment telling me what you would do with the fabric. I will choose one winner randomly next Wednesday and announce it in my newsletter. Good luck!

Okay on to the biggest news of all...who one the prize, the one worth over 500.00! eek! I can't wait to tell you....

Sandy K.

Sandy, if you're reading this, I just sent you an e-mail and I'm mailing your package today! Congrats!

Whew! all that excitement has me exhausted, thank you so much to all of you who entered. I can't believe I had over 1300 entries. Yikes that's a lot.

Newsletters...the free weekly projects, the weekly sale, the give-a-way....so much fun. If you're not signed up then you should get signed up. You can do that over there on the right hand side of this blog.

Good luck with this weeks give-a-way!
Jennifer

    1. Love your fun and delightful fabric a lot. I would probably leave the block fabric as is and create fun blocks and borders around it. Since there are two I'd probably gift one and keep one to enjoy during the holidays. Thanks for sponsoring the great giveaway!

  2. If I were to win all that awesome fabric, I would send it to my mom because she makes quilts! Then she could make me (see, she doesn't even get to keep it) something really cute for my house!

  3. I'd be tempted to use it for a tree skirt. But if the pattern was the right size, it could make great doll clothes and cat toys (I love cutting the images out to make cat toys).

  6. If I won, a quilt would be nice, but I think that I would make several wall hangings or if there is enough material (and if my stash xmas material blended with it) I would make several lap quilts. Just down the road from us is a (I assume), state run home for the mentally challenged from children on up, whose families can't take care of them. I'm sure they would find a good use for them.

  26. I love your new holiday fabric from In The Beginning. The colors and designs are very colorful and festive. While it would be very exciting to win your generous give away I will still purchase it if I’m not the winner. Wow, what would I make … so many options … first I would make a table runner for my buffet for all to see, then I would make a holiday apron for myself and my mother in law, and then I’d make as many Abbey Lane Abbey Bags (pin cushion/scrap bag) as possible with the remaining fabric for my friendship group The Bee’s Knees  Darly Dulion

  53. I think your cheerful fabric would make a fantastic tree skirt & I would like to make a new mantel cover this year. I also might use it to make a bunch of little gift bags that I saw on another blog this week. I especially like this group of fabrics because you have to have a great imagination to draw designs that are both contemporary and traditional themes.
