Hello out there.....
One week till school starts around here. I have to say it's been a wonderful summer with my boys. We have had tons of fun, I am actually sad for them to go back to school. I might change my mind by next week though...ha ha
Back to school time gets me thinking about a new start. It's always a good time for me to re-evaluate things. My shows are finished for the year and I have recovered from them( they are exhausting). I have all sorts of fun and exciting and new things planned for fall.
First of all, I have a few new classes in in the works. Still don't know dates or times so I will let you know when I know.
Second, is the very exciting ten weeks Holiday projects, this was so much fun and popular last year I am going to do it again this year. Yep, I am working on the projects as week speak. I did notice a popular craft store the other day is selling Christmas decorations, so I am not crazy to be thinking about it. Well' okay' maybe a little crazy, but I do love the holidays. More to come on these projects soon.
Third, see that little picture above? It's a sneak peek at what's coming for fall at Jangles. Writing my book really got the wheels churning in my head. I am exploding with new ideas. As a result of my exploding brain, I have some new beads for the fall. Nice warm, but still bright Jangly fall beads. I am super excited about them. I am making some now, as soon as I can get a good amount together they will arrive at my Etsy store and another online store (can't mention where that is yet, but it's not mine). More to come on that.
Whew! That's a lot. So to sum this all up stay tuned, sign up for my newsletter, and get ready for fall....it's going to be fun.

I got to have some fun this weekend. I got to go to a bead show for fun, this doesn't happen very often. Usually I am at a bead show exhibiting, but this weekend was different. I got to be a customer. It was a blast. I love beads and getting to shop all day was a luxury. I live in Georgia so I drove a couple of hours north to Franklin, NC. It's where the Smokey Mountains start. The drive was a rainy one but still beautiful. I realized I need to do this more, we are so close to the mountains but I am still getting used to that. I have lived in Georgia for almost two years now, you would think I would remember it by now.
Any who, I brought my little camera with me so here are some photos. The first photo is a sampling of the beads I bought. Yep, I bought a lot, this is just some. The second is the actual building where the show was, it was big. The third photo is mountains.
So stay tuned you'll be seeing some new work with these beads soon. I came home Saturday afternoon and stayed up late Saturday night beading away. My husband just shakes his head at me and says "Don't you ever get tired of this?" No way!
I hope everyone is having a great day......

Hi everyone, I apologize for the lack of postings. I did make it home from The Puget Sound show. It was fun and my class was great. I got to meet a lot of cool beaders. I also, got to see some old friends. I have to admit I came home and laid low for a few days, this was to catch my breath and clean my studio. It had become a disaster, I am happy to report it is back and order now. Whew!
So after my few days of just getting unpacked and settled I started on my orders. If you've placed one recently a bunch are going out today, woohoo! If you don't get an e-mail from me that means it will be another day or two but not long. I am done with shows for the year so there won't be any more delays in shipping. Yipee!
After all that, my little guy had his tonsils out yesterday. He's doing all right but it is a huge challenge to get the guy to drink and take his medicine. I am spending most of my days fetching Popsicles. I never had mine out but fro what I can tell it seems painful, I am hoping things will get better over the next few days.
Here's a photo of the bracelet that was in the Summer Stringing, I believe it is still on new stands. I love the magazine photo, it had paint brushes and paint all over the page along with my bracelet and some other pieces. It was really bright.
Be back soon!

So here's a great blog.... Cindy Neuroth Gimbrone, which by the way makes really cool glass beads, also has a blog that reviews and highlights books. Which kinds of books? Well, beading of course. So if ever you are thinking, hmm, I need a new bead book. Check it out.
It just so happens that today she is displaying my book.
I missed the Bead Surfin links this week...I was not feeling good, poor me. So here they are today, better later than never.
