Hello, Hello,Check out all of those boxes that went out last week! Whew, loads of shipping, it was really great to see it head out after six months of work. Stores are slowly getting there buttons and fabric. I have started a list and in a few days I will give you all a list of where you can find them.
I have some fabric and buttons to give away. I decided instead of giving three smaller prizes, I would give one big ol'huge prize. Wouldn't you love to be the winner of this? You get a fat quarter of all 27 of my fabrics and some buttons. Leave me a comment and you'll be entered. Also while you're leaving me the comment, let me know what you would make with all of that fabric. I will choose a winner randomly so don't worry about your answer, I'm just curious.
This is yet, another big week for Jennifer Jangles. Holiday newsletter start this Wednesday! I can't believe that it's October. How did that happen? So I am scurrying around here like one of Santa's helpers getting beads pulled and ready for Etsy. I've got some new ones planned as well as kits and jewelry. It's so exciting! I know some of you are thinking it's way too early for this but I spotted Christmas decorations this weekend when I was in Atlanta. Crazy eh?

ReplyDeleteYou know I don't sew. Not even with duct tape. But I would use a little of the fabric in some bezels under resin and string them up with a few of your fantastic beads to boot.
ReplyDeleteThe rest I would gift to my friend Jeanne, WhimsyJ, who makes the most incredible soft sculpture dolls with all sorts off colors and patterns and these funny sayings on them. My personal favorite is the one that says "My inner critic is incompetent"!

ReplyDeleteI think I would make some fun throw pillow for my sofa. Plus I might try piecing several together to make a little skirt for my favourite 4 year old. Evenif I dinn`t make anything, they would be lovely to look at.

Then I could maybe do some bead embroidery on some of it and make some sort of thing (frame, framed, stuffed, not quite sure) to put up on her walls or around her windows… Maybe some cool dresses for her or her dolls… We would have SO much fun!

I want to make two fabric tool bags for all our precious hammers. Also a turning twenty quilt. You take twenty fat quarters and stack them, cut them into sqs and rect. and shuffle and sew back together.

ReplyDeleteI would have to make fabulous "monkey businss" bags for myself and my 2 daughters, Britty (18) and Sarah (15). The pattern is from Atkinson designs and their new groovy girls program. The fabric just "feels" GROOVY and the buttons are so much fun! It just makes me feel HaPPy!
