Thinking Juice

Hello, Hello,

What a day! Fletcher woke up in the middle of the night with an asthma attack. Nik had him at the doctor first thing this morning for breathing treatments. We are now at home with the machine and for the next few days we will be treating him every four hours. Ugh, no sleep for any of us. Allergies are crazy here right now. Even Otis and the gerbils have runny noses.

Needless to say, my day has changed quite a bit. Got some deadlines I need to tend to first, and as my post said yesterday, I am still plan less. I have to admit, I am starting to feel better about things though. I find myself going back to the beginning of the year where my word of the year "Clear" was declared.

I am needing to simplify. I also just happened to get a link in my inbox to the Artbizblog. It came at a time when I could use it. The thing I got caught on was not playing it safe. I will and often take chances, but I also hate to disappoint people. I don't like to say no and also like to think I can do it all. I feel like I am at a point where I have got to take some chances. eerg. I am even uncomfortable writing about this but maybe getting things out there will make me feel better about actually doing it.
I just made myself a big ol cup of "thinking juice" or some people call them mochas. :) Going to spend the afternoon sewing and thinking about what direction I want to take.

While I am thinking...you should head over to the Artbizblog, she's got some good stuff there.
Cheers,
Jennifer

Oh and P.S. After my quilt show this weekend I have some fat quarters of Tussie Mussie left. I added them to the Etsy shop.

  1. Thanks so much for the artbizblog advice. I know myself that when I view my work as art and not "Craft-sale" items, my customers do too. It was all worth reviewing. As far as the "plan" I think all you need to do is say a prayer and you will be on the right road. God has given you many great talents to bless others with your joy and sunny items, trust your instincts and move forward like you know where you are headed because your path will be directed by God. Can't wait to see what is next. Alice~ Alice's beads and Baubles
