Modern Quilt

Happy Monday! Has the weather changed where you are? It's down right cold here this morning. I am hoping this is just a streak because I'm not ready for this. Down here in Georgia we just opened our windows.

The quilt in the picture....was the wedding gift for our friends in Oregon. I snapped a couple pictures before running out the door. Seeing it makes me want to start another quilt. In the studio I have one that needs binding and two the need quilting. I have to get those done because Extraordinary World will be arriving any day now and I can not wait to sew with it.

I'm scattered with my blog post today, forgive me, it's Monday and I am still drinking my mocha.

Have a great day!

  3. Yes, it is cold here in Northern Michigan. I've built fires in the wood stove every night for the last week. I'm ready for ski season. In the meantime I finished a baby quilt.started on a fall wall hanging, sewing a stuffed pumpkin and reorganized several projects I started this year, hoping to get them done. Did you ever get back to your paintings? I put two layers of paint on a canvas, Labor Day weekend.and haven't gotten around to drawing in the geraniums. Well here is to a week of big accomplishments. 4. Hi Jennifer,

Love your quilts. They are breath taking. I live about 50 miles from Cannon Beach, Oregon and yes, Cannon Beach is beautiful. A girlfriend and I were down there about 2 months ago and spent the day. AND...yes, Oregon is known for its coffee houses. I am a major Starbucks junkie and just love this time of year with the Pumpkin Spice Latte's and the Eggnog Latte's. Glad you had a good time here. I have your book and am trying to teach myself how to do ceramics. I do want to purchase some of your items soon, so I will be back in a week or so. I absolutely admire your work, you are a great artist. Thank you for such a wonderful book also.
