Spring Sale, News, and a Project

Hello, Hello,

I am back from my week of taking it easy. My surgery went as well as it could go. The nodule was removed and there is no cancer. I will have a scar across my neck but a beaded necklace will cover it just fine. Thank you so much for all your well wishes and comments last week. It meant a lot to me.

To celebrate me being back and that spring is coming(it really is), I have decided to have a sale. Enter the coupon Spring25 in the box over at Etsy and receive 25% off your order. You can shop all week, the sale will end Friday, Feb. 18th.

Jewelry Making Daily has a project from Candie Cooper today. It's a snazzy found object necklace featuring my pinwheels and some spoon links. It's really nice so you should definitely check it out. Oh and if you're looking for the pinwheel beads that go in this necklace. You can find some here at Lima Beads.

Happy Valentines Day!

  2. What wonderful news! I'm so happy for you.
When it's time, try using pure aloe and L'Occitane's 100% pure shea butter. They are amazing for healing scars.

  4. Hey Jen!
I am just getting to catching up with blogs - HOLY COW! Surgery - you are the 2nd bead friend (younger aged too) that had that surgery. I am so happy you are recovering and it was not cancerous. Ugh!

I heard something about the possibility of dental x-rays and no neck guard (they put those heavy lead body protectors on, but usually nothing to protect the neck). Not sure if it is true, but I would ask about extra protection if it is available. Just saying (for anyone reading about this)…

SO happy you are ok! You have great necklaces to cover up the scar…
