Chalk Boards

Hey, Hey!

Here's a few more pictures from the new studio. I painted some chalk boards around on the walls in various places. I had never used the chalk board paint before, it is so much fun. Now I want to try the magnetic paint, but I will have to save that for another day.

The above sign is right behind my counter when you walk in the door.
My spring sign is by the making table. Really this board will probably have to do lists on it soon, but for now I thought I would make it fun. I also did a restroom sign. Yes, I know it didn't really need to be in chalk but I was on a roll.

I am off to the studio right now for loads and loads of glazing today. As usual there's a lot going on in the Jennifer Jangles studio and today is no different. I am making beads for jewelry all week.

Have a great day,

  1. You know what else is fun? Magnetic paint. We painted the closet doors in my daughter's old bedroom with several coats, and then covered it with pink paint to match the walls. And we would put up artwork and magnets that were fun on there! Try it out!
It is coming together. I am so excited for you!
    Enjoy the day!

  2. Awesome Jen! A friend used that magnetic paint in their daughters room, then painted over it pink… I have been wanting to do it ever since. How stinking cool is all this stuff (and you just take it to the next level!!!)

Love seeing into the new space!

  5. Erin, It works well then? I was afriad it wouldn't be strong enough. Cool! I will have to try it.

I have seen they have dry erase paint now too. Birk would be in heaven if his walls were covered in that.
