The Other Side

Hey there!

I got to have some fun this weekend. I got to go to a bead show for fun, this doesn't happen very often. Usually I am at a bead show exhibiting, but this weekend was different. I got to be a customer. It was a blast. I love beads and getting to shop all day was a luxury. I live in Georgia so I drove a couple of hours north to Franklin, NC. It's where the Smokey Mountains start. The drive was a rainy one but still beautiful. I realized I need to do this more, we are so close to the mountains but I am still getting used to that. I have lived in Georgia for almost two years now, you would think I would remember it by now.

Any who, I brought my little camera with me so here are some photos. The first photo is a sampling of the beads I bought. Yep, I bought a lot, this is just some. The second is the actual building where the show was, it was big. The third photo is mountains.

So stay tuned you'll be seeing some new work with these beads soon. I came home Saturday afternoon and stayed up late Saturday night beading away. My husband just shakes his head at me and says "Don't you ever get tired of this?" No way!

I hope everyone is having a great day......
