Hey, Hey...
I am just finishing up some last minute things before I take a studio break...I just got these new beads out of the kiln and I couldn't wait to show them off. I am super excited how they turned out.

Jangles

As you know Jangles is taking a summer break for a couple of weeks. I just wanted to remind you that if you need something soon from the Etsy store today(until midnight) is the last day to order and still have it shipped. I will be back to the studio on July 20th. Keep checking the blog while I am away, I will still have posts regularly.

New Beads

Just in case you missed my last newsletter, I have added some new disc beads to my website. You can find them here. These are the same beads that I use to make the beads charm bracelet I showed in yesterday's post.

Happy Birthday!

My oldest tured eight this weekend and I can't believe it. We had a good time celebrating his birthday. We visited the Georgia Aquarium, which is super cool. I want to go back already. I could sit in front of their big tank all day and watch the fish swim by. Here are a few of the one hundred pictures I took there....

It's Hot!

Jangles

I am slowly but surely adding things to my Etsy shop. I have posted before about how I photograph my beads. It's outside in the sun at noon. It's going to be 100 degrees here today and it's been pretty close to that all week plus if you add in the humidity, uck, it's awful. Therefore, I am doing my best to get new beads photographed but I can only manage to get a handful done everyday. So keep checking the Etsy store...

Have a great day,
Jennifer

New Kit added to the Jangles Website

I just added this kit to the Jangles Website. I introduced it at the Bead and Button show and it was really popular. I personally really like this necklace and wear mine quite a bit. The beads shown in the picture are the exact ones that come in the kit.

Have a good one,
Jennifer

Ceramic Bead Making Class

Good morning!

I thought I would share some photos from my Bead and Button Classes. Here are a few of my students working hard on their vessels. There is a picture of my studio couch, it is full of beads. These are all the beads from my classes. They are hot out of the kiln and ready to be shipped. If you were in one of my classes you can expect to have your beads in just a few days. They turned out really great. I think everyone will be really happy with how they turned out.

If you're thinking, boy that looks like fun, I should have taken that class. Well guess what? I just added a class to my schedule yesterday. I will be teaching at the Beaded Frog in Greenville South Carolina in August. I'm not sure if they have the information up yet, so here are the dates.

Sunday August 9th 1-5
Sunday August 16th 1-5

You can sign up for my e-mail newsletter for more info coming soon or call the Beaded Frog.

Hope to see you there...

Finally, I am back!

Whew! We took a detour through Indiana on the way home from Bead and Button. We stopped and stayed with family and took a few days to relax. It was lots of fun but now I am so happy to be home and back to normal. Well as normal as things can be. My boys are at day camp and I am back in the studio. It feels good. It is a mess and needs some TLC after all the rushing around before I left for Bead and Button.

As for Bead and Button, it was great. I was there for nine days. I taught five c;lasses and then had a booth at the show. I was busy, but I had a ball teaching and plan to do more next year. Before I left, I was talking about changing my booth from black to white. Here are a few photos of the tables. I was really happy with the white. I think it makes the beads stand out more.

While at the show, I didn't get a couple of "complaints" from my blog readers about not blogging as much. Now that the show is over, I am back to blogging on a regular basis, so you can start checking in everyday to get your Jangles fix.

Have a great day!
